ECAD Configuration <CFGECAD>

Select ECAD Configuration <CFGECAD> from the Program drop-down of any ECAD menu group to display the ECAD Configuration dialog box.

Bill of Material Settings

Itemize Grommets = Ensures grommets are listed separately on the bill of materials (ST CAD Setting only).
Cross Reference Model = Drawing ledger will display the model number format based on CAD Setting
CAD Setting changes the menu environment.

(KI = KI Product lines, OEI=UNICOR Product lines, ST=OEI State Industries Product lines).

Misc. Settings (User Preference)

Help Messages - Displays an AutoCAD Message the first time an ECAD macro is entered at the command line.
Load Express Tools - Displays the AutoCAD Express Tools menu drop-down in the ECAD menu environment.
Expanded Field Width - Extends the limits of a model number to 30 characters
Traditional Panel Graphics - Select when adding Classic XXI or System XXI panels in a legacy drawing.
Enable Live Updates - Allows notification of minor updates as they are released.
Receive updates via - Configures ECAD to receive full updates and library information through an internet connection. See also Manual Encompass CAD updates...

Product Settings

Grommets - Places round grommets in desired locations on Bullnose Edge panel hung worksurfaces. Options - Universal (One center grommet 18"-42" widths, two grommets 48"-96" widths), All (grommet in all available locations), Center (one center grommet all widths), None (no grommets).
Paper Mgt. - Determines type of paper management. Traditional (Load bar w/ steel trays) setting available on Classic XXI and System XXI only.

File Path Information

LIBRARY, PROGRAMS - Source/Destination file path for ECAD operating files. (Can be set to access information from a Corporate Network to save space on the users C:\ Drive).

Select OK to exit ECAD Configuration.

These settings are saved with the users ECAD Profile, unless a change is required, it is not necessary to open the ECAD Configuration with each new drawing.
